You Too Are a Source of Inspiration

I’ve noticed a lot of comments from women in different workplace groups about how intimidated they feel when they are around successful people.

Can you relate? I know I can.

I just want to give you permission to feel your feelings in this area. Intimidation in this regard is self-imposed. It comes from a sense of wonder and awe. It’s a sign of respect for their accomplishments.

Would you be so impressed and intimidated if you were not ambitious? I suspect that it is precisely because you have big plans in life and you work hard that you can appreciate those accomplishments.

Just remember, while you are looking up to them... Someone else is looking up to you. 💛
